How much would you pay to obtain Han Solo's jacket, the identical grey one worn by Harrison Ford in the 1980 classic "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back"? What about Harrison Ford's famous fedora from "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark"?
On September 20, 2018, in London, both legendary pieces will be auctioned off as part of Prop Store's Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction of rare film and television memorabilia. Tyler Durden's (played by Brad Pitt) robe from "Fight Club" and the farewell letter Rose (Kate Winslet) wrote Cal (Billy Zane) in "Titanic," as well as Forrest Gump's (Tom Hanks') weathered Bubba Gump Shrimp Hat and Legolas' (Orlando Bloom's) Lothlorien arrow from "The Lord of the Rings," will be on display
This year marks the fifth year of the auction, which is the UK's largest of film and television memorabilia. For the first time ever, Han Solo's jacket is up for auction, and it might bring up to $1.3 million.
The auction will be live-streamed, and a free preview exhibition will be staged at the BFI IMAX, where the live auction will take place, from September 6 to September 20, 2018. Until Friday, August 31, 2018, you can register online and make proxy bids.
